Psalm 10:4
“In the pride of his face the wicked does not seek him; all his thoughts are, “There is no God.”
While using the HEAR method (see below) consider the following questions:
- Wicked people turn their nose up at God. Do you know anyone that lives their life in such a way? Have you ever lived that way?
- Do you consider yourself on the throne of your life? In other words, have you given up complete control or do you consider yourself the ruler?
Highlight – what words or phrases jump out at you
Explain – what does the passage mean?
Apply – how does the passage intersect with your life today?
Respond – how is God leading you to respond?
