Prayer For Your Enemies

Luke 6:27-28

“But I say to you who hear, Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you.”

Sometimes I want to pray, “Please Lord, hit them with a lightning bolt and burn ‘em to a crisp with their eyeballs a bugging out. Then I realize someone wants to pray that about me.

“The whole being of any Christian is Faith and love. Faith brings the man to God; love brings Him to men.” Martin Luther
