We’ve been reading this week about the crucifixion of Jesus. The Passion week culminated in the main purpose of Jesus’ ministry and mission – to redeem mankind.
Discuss with your small group what you’ve drawn from your reading this week and how God has spoken to you. Talk about how those around Christ reacted to His death on the cross and Jesus’ tone and manner throughout. In this time of immense pain and persecution we see evidence of His humanity and His deity. Be sure to note what all that we’ve read this week implies for us today. Through His death, we have life!
You can also pull from the daily questions and use the HEAR method as a structure for your discussion.
If you aren’t currently in a group we’d love to help you connect with one. Contact jon@mybelmont.org or go to mybelmont.org/smallgroups
