Matthew 7:8
“For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.”
There have been numerous times God has answered my seeking and knocking. When Treva and I were first married, someone gave us a third-hand refrigerator that lasted long enough to get our first groceries cooled before it gave out. We were in revival and heard a sermon on this very topic of seeking and asking. Everyone was encouraged to share something they were requesting in prayer. I thought mine was silly and insignificant. I no sooner had voiced my need when someone said they had just bought a new unit and we’re looking for someone to take the old one. Boom! Refrigerator from the Lord in my lap. The biggest things granted to me from the Lord were not things. Wisdom, direction, guidance, and healing were on the long lists of God’s grace.
