Have a Conversation with God

Matthew 6:7-8

“And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.”

Evangelist Anis Shorrosh taught me to pray in the first person. When you pray “my Father, my God, my Savior,” it changes the perception of the conversation and makes it more personal.

“A holy life will produce the deepest impression. Lighthouses blow no horns; they only shine.” D.L. Moody
